Top 5 For Friday: Songs

Hello! I’m sitting here on the couch having a wild Friday night—watching the first episode of Breaking Bad. I’m the last person to start watching this, yes? I figured since the series just ended, now is the appropriate time to start watching it.

At work this week, we were asked to submit Top 5 lists for a mysterious contest. Since this is one of my favorite things to do, I submitted 5. I thought it might be a fun thing to do around here on the blog, so I present to you my first weekly feature: Top 5 For Friday.

Top 5 Songs I Tell People Are My Favorite:

1. “Four Provinces” by The Walkmen

2. “Tiny Dancer” by Elton John

3. “Lua” by Bright Eyes

4. “Where Is My Mind” by Pixies

5. “Angie” by The Rolling Stones

And these are honestly my favorite songs. I love them and listening to them makes me so happy. iTunes, however, has a different list of my 5 favorite songs.

Top 5 Songs I Listen To Most According To iTunes:

1. “Intervention” by Arcade Fire

2. “We Are Young” by Fun. featuring Janelle Monae

3. “Pursuit Of Happiness” by Kid Cudi featuring MGMT and Ratatat

4. “Not Your Fault” by AWOLNATION

5. “The Golden Age And The Silver Girl” by Tyler Lyle

I think the explanation here is that I mostly listen to my iPod when I’m working out, right? It’s not that I’m embarrassed by my actual most-listened to songs list, it’s just…not what I would have chosen.

Well, that’s that for tonight. I hope you all have a great evening and weekend!
