WIAW: Sunday, September 29

Hi and happy WIAW everyone! I haven’t done one of these in a few weeks (chalk that up to boring/repetitive meals and laziness), but I thought today was as good as any.

Remember Sunday?

Yup, rainy Sunday. When I finally rolled out of bed at 10am, I made myself my usual weekend breakfast:

Scrambled eggs with a little shredded cheese, hot sauce, and pepper, with an English muffin and cream cheese on the side. This will never get old.

The morning, as you may remember, was spent doing laundry, laying on the couch, and watching Parks and Recreation. Around 2pm I decided to just give in to my laziness. Since my fridge was empty (except for eggs, and well—breakfast), I quickly ran out to Subway (<3) to pick up a sandwich and resume my TV marathon.

Plus an oatmeal raisin cookie, duh.

Speaking of Parks and Rec, did you guys watch the premier last week? It was so sweet and funny, and I may have teared up at the end.

Later that afternoon I headed to church, where my mom surprised me with some homemade chocolate chip cookies, which I ate right away (and shared with some friends).

To make up for being lazy the rest of the day, after church I headed to the grocery and Target to pick up food for the rest of the week. When I got home I made my favorite dinner/snack.

(Sorry for the dark picture—if you can’t tell, it’s apple slices with almond butter and chocolate chips, plus another English muffin with cream cheese.)

The rest of the evening was an epic cook-up for the rest of the week—something I always dread but am so thankful for every day afterwards.

And that was it! Not the most exciting day, but they can’t all be. Hope you’re having a great Wednesday!
