Good morning and happy Sunday! Sunday is usually my lazy day when I sleep in too late, have a hard time getting moving, and then spend the rest of the day rushing around trying to get everything done. I always have high hopes that Sunday will be a productive start to the week, but it usually doesn’t happen.
But this morning, I didn’t roll out of bed until 10am (!). I blame the fact that it’s cool and gray and rainy outside.
I made myself breakfast, returned some stuff to the library, and did some laundry, so I guess it’s not all a loss. And my mama came over for a visit, so that was a nice surprise.
The remainder of the morning, however, has been spent watching Parks and Rec and drinking coffee on the couch.
I’m trying to get moving now—I NEED to go to the grocery, shower, and balance my checkbook (yesterday was spent doing more—possibly too much—retail therapy). I also need to confess that I have been mostly sedentary and eaten like a monster for the last few days, and I’m feeling like the worst right now. I was catching up on blog reading this morning, and something posted on Gina’s website resonated with me: “You got the ball started; you just need to keep it rolling.” So with that in mind, I’m looking up recipes I’ve pinned on Pinterest for some food ideas for this week, and here’s what I’m planning fitness-wise.
Sunday: Off (just rolling with it)
Monday: Running (my friends have started a running group recently, so I’m going to join them tomorrow)
Tuesday: Weights/DVD at home
Thursday: Weights + cardio
Saturday: Hot yoga
