Happy Wednesday everyone! And…since it’s Wednesday, why not have a little What I Ate Wednesday fun? Here are my eats from yesterday.
At work I had my usual breakfast staple—protein pancakes with a sliced banana on top, plus coffee with a little almond milk.
So good and so easy to grab on the way out the door.
A couple hours later, I had an apple as a snack.
Also, I cannot wait for fall to officially get here—the apples I’ve had over the last few weeks have been sub-par.
Pardon this photo…for lunch I had a PB&J wrap, and there’s just no good way to photograph it.
On Monday I had a wicked craving for peanut butter and jelly, so I decided to bring it for lunch on Tuesday. Unfortunately, I think it didn’t set will with my stomach, because I started feeling a little…off in the afternoon.
The only thing that sounded good? A Pepsi and 2 Reese’s peanut butter cups. Not my proudest moment. And true to form, I forgot to take a picture.
I wanted something light and simple for dinner, so I scrambled up 2 eggs and added in some green pepper, black beans, pepper, and hot sauce.
Plus my favorite cinnamon raisin bread on the side. I know it doesn’t look great, but it was delicious.
I spent the rest of the night working and watching Sherlock on my couch. Have you guys seen it? I’ve actually watched both seasons before, but I wanted something on that I could work to—something interesting but not super distracting.
Speaking of Sherlock, can we talk about Benedict Cumberbatch? Does anyone else have a strange fascination with him? He’s a great actor, but I’m also finding myself attracted to him. Somehow at work yesterday I ended up in the rabbit hole of YouTube and found this video. I swear I ovulated when I saw it. As my friend pointed out, maybe it’s some sort of weird animal attraction.
