Monday Morning

I had intended to write this post several hours ago, complete with photographic proof of my early morning run.

But that run didn’t happen. Do you ever have a really great weekend, and as you crawl into bed on Sunday night, you think, This is going to be a great week? And then when you get up on Monday morning, everything is shot to hell?

That was my experience this morning. I kept thinking, When I have my coffee, I’ll feel better. When I listen to this song, I’ll feel better. But I just never really started feeling better.

In fact, I ended up taking my lunch break my earlier than I anticipated.

I stopped by the library to pick up a copy of this CD.

And listening to the fun, dance-y music didn’t make me feel better either.

So I finally realized, sometimes you just need to stand in your apartment and read a psalm out loud to yourself and ask for a little help.

I’m happy to report that I’m back at work and feeling better. And while I’m here, I thought I’d post what I’m planning on fitness-wise this week. (Last week I managed to do 4 out of 5 workouts that I’d planned, so I’ll call that success!)

Monday: Run + abs

Tuesday: Off/walking club at work

Wednesday: Run + bum

Thursday: Full body strength

Friday: Run + arms

Saturday: Hot yoga

Sunday: Off 🙂
