Hey guys and happy Monday! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Here’s a little list of high points from mine.
1. Yoga is about to be back in my life in a real way. My favorite hot yoga studio recently did a Groupon for 10 classes, so I immediately bought one. I’m so so excited to start going again—I was literally talking about how much I miss hot yoga on Thursday night, but how I couldn’t really afford to go right now. Friday morning, the Groupon was in my inbox. Thanks Lord! 🙂
2. Road tripping with a friend, even if it ends up being sort of a disaster. My friend Megan and I planned a day trip to Cincinnati and Louisville on Saturday. I’ll tell you more about it later (since I plan to do a WIAW post about the whole day), but let’s just say there was a lot of this:
3.5 hours of this, to be exact. We still had fun though.
3. Dogs are the best and worst.
I mean, how can you ever be sad when you come home to this sweet face every day?
Except for when this sweet face has managed to vomit, pee, and poop in your apartment, all within the span of 10 minutes. Yeah, that was not my favorite dog-ownership moment. But all is forgiven now.
4. Running along the riverfront. So…last week I didn’t post much about my fitness plans for the week, mainly because none of them happened. But I’m happy to report I got back on the wagon after work tonight—my friend Brit and I went for a quick 2.5 mile run along the river, and it was so nice. Actually, it was a little difficult—I’ll chalk that up to my inconsistent running this summer. But the weather was perfect and it’s always good to have a friend along to motivate you.
5. Indiana, I love you.
