Hey guys and happy Wednesday! It’s time for another What I Ate Wednesday. Here’s what I had yesterday.
Disclaimer: I totally forgot to take photos of everything I ate except for dinner. (Surprise, right?) Luckily, I tend to eat the same things over and over again, so I found some old photos that I’m using today.
Let’s get to it!
In typical Tuesday (aka Boosday) fashion, I overslept this morning. Does anyone else have this problem? A couple of my friends and myself agree that Tuesday is the worst day of the workweek. Fortunately, I have been packing my breakfast/lunch/snacks the night before, so I just had to grab my lunch bag and go. I had my typical protein pancake, banana, and coffee with coconut milk.
Breakfast (or actually, coffee) held me over for several hours, especially since I ate it an hour later than normal. I had packed my lunch the night before, but when I went to get it, the greens in my salad were pretty gnarly, so I pitched it. A trip to G.D. Ritzy’s was in order. I got their garden salad and drowned it in ranch dressing. They seriously have the best pre-made salads—they’re pretty much a staple when I have to run out and get lunch.
After lunch, I wanted something sweet. I decided to skip the Larabar I brought and had an apple and string cheese instead.
Initially I had planned to work out in the morning before work, but since I snoozed through my alarm, that didn’t happen. So after work it was! I did a barre workout from Tone It Up’s Beach Babe 2 DVD (<3) and followed it with their Sunkissed Abs routine. I was sweaty and ready for dinner afterwards.
I really needed to go to the grocery last night, so dinner was sort of a hodge-podge of stuff thrown in a skillet. In the mix was one egg, quinoa, green peppers, salsa, and black pepper. It turned out really well and was really filling!
And because I have a sweet tooth, I had a few handfuls of chocolate chips after dinner. 🙂
