Hi everyone, and happy Monday! I hope your week got off to a better start than mine did. :/

1. Let’s have a moment of silence for Google Reader. I’ll miss you, friend, but I’m already sort of in love with Feedly.

2. I’m currently typing up this blog post on the couch while I’m doing laundry and waiting for some quinoa to cook. I’ve found that one of the worst times to go to my gym is 5pm on Monday, so I decided to get a few things at home done and head over around 6 for a run and some weights.

3. The reason I’m heading to the gym tonight instead of this morning or over my lunch is because I a) overslept this morning and b) had a flat tire on the way to work. Seriously, what is up with that? And of course, it was pouring down rain. I felt slightly guilty for calling AAA to take care of my tire, but the guy was super friendly (side note: He actually gave my car a jump a couple weeks ago) and the rain had let up a little by the time he arrived.

4. After several weeks of crazy and busy, I had a wonderful weekend that was a mix of productivity and relaxation. I slept in both days, finished season 5 of Parks and Rec (tear), cleaned and prepped for the week ahead, and had a great time hanging out with friends and family. Perfect weekend.


(There was  also lots of this over the weekend.)

Plus, we have the 4th of July to look forward to this week! I got a super patriotic outfit that I’m really excited to wear Thursday, and my friends and I are currently formulating plans for the evening. Getting excited!
