Weekend Review

The past couple weekends have been pretty stressful. I’ve had a busy couple months, and my apartment has suffered. I’m a pretty neat person, but I like to deep clean at least once a month. I also moved into my new place in January, and I still had a few boxes left on my bedroom floor that needed to be unpacked. So I’m happy to say that this past weekend, I spent 4 hours cleaning and unpacking my place.

I feel sooooo much better now.

Since I was on such a roll, I also made a trip to Target to pick up the last few things I wanted for my bedroom (a couple sleeping pillows and a couple throw pillows). When I got home, I made my bed and put all the new bedding on it, and then this little bug took over.

Basically, whenever Dora’s in my room, she takes over the bed and rearranges it however she wants. At least it looked perfect for a couple minutes. 🙂

I have a couple more things to frame and hang up, but hopefully by this weekend, I’ll be done decorating…forever. I’m the kind of person that when I finish decorating and arranging furniture, I never move it ever again.

Also this weekend, this came in the mail:

Tone It Up‘s new Beach Babe DVD! I ordered it the day they announced it was out, and I’d been anxiously waiting for it to come in the mail all week. I purchased their first Beach Babe DVD last summer, and it has since become my favorite workout DVD. Actually, it’s the only one I use—I’m notorious for buying new fitness DVDs, using them once or twice, and then never again. Tone It Up’s workouts are seriously so fun and go by so quickly. I’ve been trying out the new workouts since it came on Saturday, and I love them all so far.

Aside from those 2 eventful things, I spent a lot of time relaxing over the weekend. I think it was just what I needed. And as a bonus, this week has been pretty chill so far. I’m hoping it stays that way. 🙂
